Once again the children from Belarus are visiting Nairn. Tanya, their leader and eight children arrived on the 1st July for a three week holiday. Although no one from our church is directly involved this year, we still provided an evening meal for the group and their hosts. They were a lovely group of children, very polite and grateful for the meal and the gifts they received. Their parents can be very proud of them. I am sure that is what all parents want to hear when their children are away from home.
The group have had a varied programme but a favourite is still the baths and the sea. Children from Belarus have been coming to Nairn for about fifteen years now and the baths always tops the list of activities.
