Helping Hands are happy to announce that church members have provided 25 boxes for the Show Box Appeal, and other people are filling their boxes independently. Some people have very generously given us money towards the cost of postage.
Another successful fundraising day, with great weather for the event. Guessing the name of Bertie the Scarecrow was a popular attraction.
This was a great social evening with wonderful stovies and we also raised a good amount of money for the church.

Today at Junior Church we were learning about how God sent down an Angel to save Daniel from the lions. We made masks to help us remember the story.
On Saturday 5th of September part of the Nairn contingency invaded Morningside manse for a guided tour by Steven. We wish him all the best in his new charge in Edinburgh.
March 13th saw the oldest member of our congregation Mr. Malcolm McAlpine celebrate his 100th birthday. He is still very active and continues to be a valued member of the choir. Unfortunately Malcolm passed away in spring 2016, he is still sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
